First Tee at Pomme Creek GC

The First Tee of Greater St. Louis has started an On-Course program at Pomme Creek GC. The First Tee is an international youth development organization that introduces the game of golf and its inherent values to young people. They focus on reinforcing values like integrity, respect, and perseverance through the game of golf. This is a great program that you've probably heard of and seen already. Scott Langley from Parkway South is the first First Tee program participant to make it on the PGA tour.

I'm posting this today to see if anyone would be interested in volunteering for the program. It occurs on Tuesdays at Pomme Creek From 5:00-7:00pm. Heather Wegge (Wegge Golf Academy) is the one running it, and we need a few more volunteers.

Any skill level can volunteer, as this is an introduction to the sport for many of the youngsters. High school golfers can also volunteer.

In order to volunteer you need to fill out a Volunteer Application. It is attached. You can bring it with you to Pomme on a Tuesday or get it to me some other way.
It's a great experience, and a great way to grow the sport in the area. Please consider helping out.

There's more info on the Pomme clinics at the following link-

Also, the summer 8-week session filled up very quickly. Please let any young kids that may be interested in the fall session at Pomme to sign up soon in order to have a spot.

If you have any questions please contact myself or Heather Wegge hweggegolf@gmail.com

Feel free to forward this to anyone you know who may be willing to help out.
