Oakville 199 Fox 248

The Warriors had a rough day at Quail Creek GC against Oakville. The busy golf season seemed to catch up with the girls yesterday as they shot their highest total of the year.  Team pics and a short team meeting are on the schedule for today so the girls can regain their focus for the stretch run.  We'll look to make our summer golf and hours spent practicing pay off during these last three weeks of the golf season.

Seckman Match play Cup

The girls golf program had their first match of the season this afternoon as they took on rival Seckman. In what was the first golf competition for many of our golfers, they played well.  Going up against a Seckman team that conference championship dreams proved to be a tough test for our young squad. The highlight of the day for the Warriors was the play of freshman Jamie O'Neill(pictured below).  She tied her match versus a past sectional qualifier for the Jaguars, making the final score 8 1/2- 1/2.  She also shot the low stroke score of 54.  Jenn Amstutz shot a 55 and Sarah Lamprecht had a 59.  The Warriors are back in action Wednesday versus Marquette and Thursday versus Lindbergh, both at Pomme.
