We have a Winner!

Mallorie Mason is the winner of the Golf Club Raffle.  Congratulations! Mallorie will be getting her new clubs on Monday, or whenever we get back to school after this weekend's weather.  Thanks to everyone that bought a ticket.  The Fox Golf program appreciates your support.  With the funds raised from the raffle the girls team will be getting push carts for their upcoming season, and the boys will be able to get some new gear and have a few extra practice rounds at their upcoming tournament sites.

Raffle ends Friday

All golfers need to turn in their raffle tickets to Coach Boyd tomorrow, or Friday morning at the very latest. Gather in Coach Boyd's room after school Friday for the drawing. Results will be posted here Friday evening.

Lindsay signs with William Woods

Senior Brendan Lindsay made it official recently when he signed his Letter of Intent to play golf for William Woods University beginning in the fall of 2014.  Brendan has played golf at Fox his entire high school career.  Last season he was the top rated golfer on the team and a sectional qualifier.  He won the 18-hole Gateway Jr. PGA tournament at Crescent Farms this past summer.  He's medaled at many  matches and looks to add to his honors as he captains the Fox varsity squad this season.  Pictured below are...

Golf Raffle starts today

All the golfers received their raffles tickets today.  Look one up for a chance at a brand new set of Cleveland irons or a complete set of women's Adams Tight Lies. You have until Feb 28th or you can contact Coach Boyd.  See below.

Meeting rescheduled again

We will now have our meeting after school on Thursday, February 13th.  Boys and girls golfers should meet in room 208.  We will go over our fundraiser first, then the boys will go over preparations for tryouts and their upcoming season.  Boys golf starts on Monday, March 3rd.

We will have our meeting on Monday, February 10th right after school in room 208.

Golf meeting- Wednesday February 5th 2:30pm

Both boys and girls will have a golf meeting after school in room 208 (Coach Boyd's room).  The first part of the meeting will cover this year's fundraiser, another golf club raffle.  Every golfer will get five raffle tickets that they will be responsible for selling to benefit the golf program at Fox High School.  Incentives for selling tickets will be announced at the meeting.  Girl golfers can leave after the first part of the meeting as the second half of the meeting will be the preseason meeting for the upcoming boys golf season which starts March 3rd.  Paperwork and schedules will be handed out and expectations will be explained.
