Reminder to seniors and those other golfers that drive to school- we're meeting at Guffey Elementary at 6am tomorrow morning to help Dr. Schwalbe set up the inflatables for the fun day and school fair. Money made goes towards the banquet and senior recognitions. 

Fox 6th at Conference

The Warriors bested every team in their division today and finished 6th at the Suburban West Conference Tournament held at Aberdeen GC. JV loses to Mehlville

The JV squad traveled to Riverlakes today and dropped a close match to the Panthers by the score of 290-293. The medalist for the match was Fox's Ryan Lourance.

The JV squad defeated Northwest on Friday 291-316. Junior Alec Stirnemann was the match medalist at Pomme Creek GC.

Varsity still undefeated

The varsity squad kept their unblemished record clean today with victories over Lindbergh and Eureka. In the tri match at The Legends the Warriors shot 257, with Lindbergh at 259, and Eureka at 273. Fox was led by senior Adam Basler once again as he carded a 39. Sophomore Paul Henderson came up big for the team with a 40 and senior Tony Francik bounced back with a 41 to cinch the close victory over the Flyers.

The JV golfers traveled to Ballwin GC to take on the Parkway West Longhorns today and dropped the match 262-306. Sophomore Ryan Lourance was the medalist with a 42.

JV loses to Kirkwood

The JV team played Kirkwood yesterday at Riverside.  The final score was 287-271 in favor of the Pioneers.  The Warriors were led again by junior Alec Stirnemann who shot a 42.  Sophomore Ryan Lourance also did well by carding a 44.

JV falls to Parkway South

On another windy day at Crescent Farms, the JV squad dropped their match to the always tough Patriots of Parkway South by the score of 293-319. Junior Alec Stirnemann led the Warriors with a 44 and sophomore Ryan Lourance carded a 45. 

Varsity comes in 8th of 23 at Webster Cup

The varsity squad had an excellent showing for their first time competing in the Webster Cup. Long one of the St Louis regions biggest and toughest competitions, Fox made their presence known with an 8th place finish, just four strokes from a 5th place team trophy. The team was led by senior Jacob Weis, who was sporting a new putting routine and grip. The adjustments paid off as Jacob posted a 79, good enough for a 10th place medal among 115 golfers. Varsity comes in 12th of 27 at Laker Invitational

The varsity tournament team competed at Old Kinderhook today in the Laker Invitational (Camdenton, MO). In one of the biggest and most competitive tournaments in the state, the team came in 12th of 27 teams. The Warriors were led by senior Tyler Ward as he carded a 77, good enough for a top-15 medal (out of 135 golfers). The other scores were Adam Basler 82, Jacob Weis 85, and Matt Turner 87. V/JV Split Squad wins MidEast

With the varsity tournament team out of town, the lower varsity and upper JV golfers teamed up to win the MidEast Invitational today at Raintree CC in Hillsboro. Sophomore Paul Henderson led the Warriors by shooting an 82, good enough for second overall. The scramble tandem of senior Sam Bekemeier and freshman Trent Chapman came in first with an 86 and the best ball pair of junior Alec Stirnemann and sophomore Dawson Gaszak carded the low score of 84. The team shot a 347 to take first overall for the second year in a row.

The JV squad defeated Pattonville at Crystal Springs yesterday by the score of 254-287. Sophomore Paul Henderson was the medalist with a 35. Other JV scores included Dawson Gaszak 40, Alec Stirnemann and Ryan Lourance 42, Trent Chapman 44, and Christian Iverson 51. 

Varsity comes in 5th at Poplar Bluff

The varsity boys came in 5th out of 19 schools at the Poplar Bluff Invitational on Monday. The boys played through a constant rain and persevered to a respectable finish.

Varsity on Wednesday

All varsity team members will dress out for the match on Wedesday at Pomme. The Leader will be there before the match to take a team pic for the golf season preview article. Those varsity members not in the lineup against Northwest will play nine holes at Pomme as the match goes on.

Coach Neibert will be at Pomme on Monday at 11am for those golfers that want to get together and practice.  Remember that you can play Pomme for free any time during the season.

Varsity opened their match schedule today with a 249-263 victory over the Oakville Tigers. Senior Adam Basler was the medalist with a 37. Fellow senior Tyler Ward shot a 39. Seniors Tony Francik and Matt Turner came in with 41 and 42 respectively.
